5 Steps to Ease Stress with Mindful Meditation

Supporting Clients through Mindful Communication. A workshop for community professionals to improve communication with clients. Topics included empathy, listening blocks, social connection, mindfulness, and self-awareness.

Professional Development Day. Facilitated a day-long retreat for 120 student services professionals on stress management, mindfulness, purpose and values, and communication.

The Important Skill of Mindful Communication. During the Northern Nevada Diversity Summit, attendees learned about mindful communication, including the importance of listening and reflecting to develop self-awareness, compassion, and empathy.

Mind-Body Medicine Skills Group. Mind-Body Skills, an eight-week program that focuses on educating participants on the scientific basis of mind-body medicine. Using the small group approach, participants learned various effective tools for self-care and stress management. The program aims to equip students with crucial skills to manage their stress levels and improve their overall well-being.

Techniques and Tools to Ease Caregiver Burnout. Caregiver Conference: this session introduced caregivers to mindfulness to support their well-being. The workshop provided caregivers with practical strategies and techniques. The session consisted of experiential exercises, reflection, and group discussions. The session's objective was to equip caregivers with the skills and knowledge to take better care of themselves and the people they are caring for.

Corporate Wellbeing & Resilience Training Program. The program covered topics such as mindfulness and self-care at work, understanding self-talk, cultivating self-compassion, and fostering connections with coworkers. 

Returning Home Retreat.  Granlibakken, Tahoe City, CA. I co-created and facilitated this immersive retreat focused on health and well-being for healthcare professionals.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). 8-week evidence-based course that offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, depression, and pain.
